Cloud Transformation Enables 200% Growth for Recruitment Agency

200% user growth supported — from 60 to 180 users within 18 months, with zero infrastructure changes. We delivered this outcome for Central London Recruitment Group (120 users across 3 offices) by combining Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune into a single strategic engagement.
What Central London Recruitment Group was facing
A central London recruitment agency with three offices was running on aging on-premises infrastructure that was holding back their growth. Their Bullhorn CRM was slow, email outages were frequent, remote consultants couldn't access systems reliably from client sites, and their server hardware was approaching end of life with replacement quotes exceeding £45,000. They were winning contracts rapidly and needed to scale from 60 to 180 users within 18 months, but their infrastructure couldn't support that growth. They needed a strategic partner to migrate them to the cloud, modernise their IT infrastructure, and provide a scalable platform that would support their ambitious growth plans — without large upfront capital expenditure.
How we solved it
We designed a complete cloud transformation strategy centred on Microsoft 365 and Azure. We migrated all 120 users to Microsoft 365 Business Premium with Exchange Online email, Teams collaboration, and SharePoint document management — eliminating their on-premises Exchange server. We migrated their Bullhorn CRM to a cloud-hosted Azure environment with improved performance and scalability. We implemented Microsoft Intune for cloud-based device management, enabling consultants to work securely from any location. We deployed Mimecast email security to protect against phishing targeting recruitment consultants, and implemented Azure-based backup and disaster recovery. We also designed a scalable architecture that could grow from 120 to 300 users without infrastructure changes — simply adding Microsoft 365 licences as new consultants joined. The entire migration was completed in 4 weeks with zero downtime.
